In a photo, some places are sharp while others are blurry. By focusing, we decide where the area of focus will be.
In a photo, some places are sharp while others are blurry. By focusing, we decide where the area of focus will be. This allows us to make a subject stand out while leaving the background blurred.
We can let the camera determine which spot will be in focus, but we may not agree with its choice. In this workshop, we will take charge of the situation in order to make a better choice than the automatic mode of the camera.
As there are quite a few differences from one camera model to another, we will spend more time in the practical session and less in the theoretical portion, so that each participant can fully understand how their camera works. device.
This is also one reason why our workshops are done in small groups.
Take control of the focus in order to always have the sharpness in the right place in the photo, whatever the shooting and light conditions, handheld or on a tripod.
We will learn practical recipes adapted to your photo equipment for different situations.
An interchangeable lens camera is essential. It could be a DSLR or a mirrorless camera. A tripod is useful if you want to learn how to focus properly when using it. Any lens can be used for this workshop, but a longer focal length (70mm or more) will allow you to better distinguish sharp areas in photos during the practical exercises.
