Most sensors have a 2:3 ratio


‍When you request a photo in a certain format, your original file may not be the correct proportions for the desired print format since digital sensors are not all proportional to usual print formats.


For example, when you ask to make an 8x10, the ratio is not the same, it is 4:5. If you want to keep the image in full, you will have to choose a format with a ratio of 2:3, an 8x12, or reduce the photo so that it can fit into the desired format.


If you don't care about keeping the full image, you can crop the photo to the new ratio.

To avoid confusion, please let us know your choice.
